Care & cleaning
Titanium doesn't tarnish, rust or react with skin, so it needs very little care. The colour is a microscopically thin layer on the surface: keep it away from scratching and polishing, and it stays bright for years.
Cleaning
- Warm water and a drop of mild soap. Plain washing-up liquid is ideal.
- Rinse and pat dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
- For tight details, use a very soft toothbrush — gently, with no pressure.
Keep away from
- Polishing cloths and silver polish. They're made to remove a surface layer, and on titanium that layer is the colour.
- Abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, toothpaste and jewelry dips.
- Hard knocks and rough work — take rings off for the gym, gardening and DIY.
- Diamonds and hard stones. Store pieces apart so they don't rub against each other.
Everyday wear
- Water, showers and swimming
- Fine. Titanium isn't affected by water, sweat or chlorine. Dry it afterwards to keep it looking its best.
- Sensitive skin
- Our titanium contains no nickel and doesn't react with skin — it's the same metal used for medical implants.
- Storing
- Keep each piece in its own pouch or box compartment.
- Open rings
- Don't try to bend them wider or narrower. Titanium is very hard, and forcing it can crack the design.
